We strive to accomplish this by sharing God's love,
providing inexpensive clothing, creating jobs, building community
and relationships, and providing funds to help support our partners.
As a mission team of Circle Venture and Circle of Hope, the Circle
Thrift mission is intended to meet a subset of the mission statement
established by its parent organizations. These can be viewed on the
Circle of Hope website.

While Circle Thrift does sell some really interesting vintage wear,
our primary goal is to provide quality clothing and merchandise to
those in need. We are able do this by depending on clothing donations
from Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and people like you.

Circle Thrift intends to create as many paid employee positions
as financially possible. Most importantly employees
will be provided a safe environment where they can experience
and share God's love.

Circle Thrift hopes to build meaningful relationships with the
community and people of Fishtown/Kensington. We hope to do this by
establishing relationships that go deeper than business with our
customers and neighbors. We hope that many relationships will be
taken to an even deeper level within the Circle of Hope East
Congregation that will be using the space above the Thrift store.

Circle Thrift is a mission team within Circle Venture. It is a primary
goal of Circle Thrift to provide Circle Venture with funds needed
to sustain and start new mission teams within Philadelphia. Circle
Thrift is a member of the MCC Thrift Shop Network; each store in
this network attempts to provide some funds back to the other thrift
stores and to MCC for their many other world missions. To learn
more about MCC and their mission visit http://www.mcc.org/.
